At Azuli, we appreciate the importance of getting the basics right. A good website should:
We can sort out points 1 to 4, and (if you wish) advise on number 5. How much will it cost? Our standard rate for website design is £30 per hour; we offer concessionary rates to charitable, voluntary and not-for-profit organisations. The basic rule is: the time it will take us to construct your site very much depends on the material you provide us with. If you have a clear idea about the layout of your site, and can provide text in electronic format, it will obviously take much less time than if we have to type or scan in the text from a collection of your handwritten notes and printed publicity material. Generally speaking, doing the layout and design is more time-consuming than the basic HTML-markup. Assuming the 'preferred scenario' outlined above, a simple site based on 5 A4 pages with a few images (provided by the client) would cost about £300 (excluding hosting). If you are looking for custom forms or other features, we'll have to quote depending on the complexity. We are happy to write custom JavaScript and Java applets; these will be charged at the same hourly rate. |
